About the Store


The University of California, Merced is the first major University to be built in California in the 21st century.
Our Campus Store opened at the beginning of Fall 2005, and then had a Grand Opening for our current
location at the Kolligian Library on December 5th, 2005.

UC Merced's College Store does more than distribute textbooks; it’s also your main source for Bobcat apparel and a convenient
place to pick up school supplies or snacks.  In addition, The Campus Store has joined forces with Apple Computers to
provide the best products at academic pricing.

 

Books and Class Materials

The College Store brings a modern touch to the tradition of high-quality bookstore service with online ordering.
New or used textbooks can be purchased through the College Store website. You can shop from the comfort of
your own home — or anywhere with internet access. Books will be delivered to campus, bundled together by
our staff, and marked with your name and ID for pick up in the Textbook Annex.  At the end of the semester,
the bookstore buys back used textbooks for cash to you at the best possible price. With academic pricing, there
is no need to shop anywhere else. 

 

Apple Computers & Electronics              

The College Store has partnered with Apple to provide the best quality computers, iPods and accessories to you
at the best possible price.  With Academic Pricing, there is no need to shop anywhere else. The UC Merced
College Store also carries a large assortment of batteries, calculators, cables and peripherals to link you up to the
digital lifestyle student’s demand.

 

Lantern Café

Located on the first floor of the Kolligian Library, the College Store and Lantern Café are sure to be a hub of activity.
The cafe will serve up top-quality brewed coffee and your favorite espresso drinks.  You can also choose from a
variety of café-style menu items. 

 

Spirit Gear and More

Find all of your Golden Bobcat gear at the UC Merced apparel headquarters: T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and more.
Decorations for your room and convenience items are available, too.

 

 

The College Store accepts cash, checks, credit cards and the Cat Card.
